I the beginning of September I did a few day’s hike in Muotkatunturi Wilderness area. Very peaceful, all kinds of weather and I didn’t see any other people during the hike. Unfortunately only one evening was half clear, so I didn’t got any decent nigh sky pics.
Gear:
I had E-M1 Mark III with M-Zuiko 12-100/4 Pro attached to backpack straps ready to shoot all the time. Weather sealing of this gear is so good that it is possible to keep the gear outside your backpack all the time, even in a heavy rain. A had also M.Zuiko 60/2.8 Macro for close ups and Panasonic Leica Summilux 12/1.4 for night shots. Starry Sky AF works fine also with the Panasonic lens. For night shots I had also an old but lightweight Slik Sprint Mini GM tripod.
With some close up pics I used focus stacking, which is very easy with Olympus gear.
